Interview
with the Principal
Dr.
Palmer stays as the Vinton principal because he thinks Vinton is such a good
place. Also, he has invested most of his career in the school’s success. “It’s
just really hard to do something else,” states Dr. Palmer. He spent most of his
career in the schools’ success.
One
of Dr. Palmer’s favorite things about Vinton is building the Vinton family. He
quotes, “It’s like being the mayor or the town manager of a wonderful little
village.”
In
Dr. Palmer’s free time which he has very little of, he is doing errands and
house chores. Dr. Palmer and his wife enjoy going to the beach and the theatre.
Dr.
Palmer loves helping make Vinton a great place to teach and learn.
