4th Grade Google docs.
By
Claire and Alex
In
the
computer lab on Wednesdays and Tuesdays the
4th graders just got google docs accounts. They are now learning how
to search, copy, and paste information. They each get their own e-mail and
password.
Students
work in teams for part of the time. For example someone types a “T” on your
other teammates’ computer that “T” will show up on their computer with your
color.
The
person who set this all up for us is Mr. Sokoloski. We also use these accounts
for our personal narratives that our teachers set up for us they can also go in
our accounts and look at them. The fourth graders can also do homework or
unfinished work from home.
We
have a google drive and our teacher can log on our account then they can look
at our work. We can add tabs at the top and go back and forth between them. For example we go on the Vinton website and
put it in a new tab then we open a new tab for research. When we are on that research
website we can go back to the Vinton website by going to the top of the screen
and clicking on the tab that says Vinton home page.
Maybe
you will get a google docs account someday.
