The Antonov AN 225 Mriya is the world’s largest aircraft in the world. It’s 10% bigger than a Boeing 747 and can outlift a C-5 Galaxy the world’s 2nd best cargo plane . And, it used to land Russian space shuttles! Let’s see its history. Like I said, it used to land a Russian space shuttle called Buran. Later, the plane got scrapped because of no funds and the company had to sell parts of the plane to get more money. Then, the company realized there was a way to earn more money-rebuild the plane and use it to carry cargo. In 2002 it was finally finished and ready to use. It was a great success. The Antonov Company earns 10% more money and it’s such a well-known plane tourists and plane lovers follow it everywhere it lands and takes off.
Fun Facts:
