Chess Club
Attention all lovers of chess, Mrs. Terry started a
new group for a chess club. So far everything is going great. I stink at chess but with this practice I will surely get much better at the art of chess. I haven’t won a game yet but I am getting better. I really enjoyed my first day in that group! There are lots of kids doing chess club. There were 23 kids in the 4th grade group. In the 3rd grade group there were 29 kids; 23+29=52 kids in all! There were even some kids who had never played chess in their lives. They became pretty good in that first day. Mrs. Terry gave them boards and told them the basics. Well, I can’t wait for my next class! By: Kathryn Abbatemarco
